Here's a carry-along Baby checklist to help you organize all the essentials you need before bringing home your baby. It is a general guide of products that will help you get prepared. Individualize it according to your lifestyle, your budget, where you live, and the time of year your baby will arrive.

- 10-12 larger bottles (8oz) and 4 smaller bottles (4oz) with newborn nipple units

- Baby brush and comb
- Calibrated medicine spoon or dropper

- Baby wipes and warmer
- 6-8 wash cloths

Clothing :
- 3-7 undershirts that fasten in front for easy dressing
- 4-6 sleepers
- 4-5 booties or snug-socks (get the kind that won't get kicked off).

- 1 dress-up outfit (bring your baby home from the hospital in this)
- 1 snowbag for a winter baby
- 1 lightweight, brimmed hat for a summer baby
